Hey Everyone!

So last night the Spirit (or my own stupidity) coerced me into writing a 7 song "non-concept" album. There's one song for each of the celebrities that have died recently ("The King of Pop is Dead" written and recorded only hours after the fact) and three songs written on the spot, of varying quality, and themes.

I find that I share the same rut as many of my fellow Twin Cities songwriters. We have a MySpace a few of our friends visit. We book shows we get excited about that a few of our friends and family members come to, sharing bills with other songwriters we don't get a chance to know. No networking gets done, we don't reach out, we just play for a few people who already know us and don't grow.
